The rain drops on the window pane reminded Ananya of the happy days back home, it seemed so long ago that she had seen their faces, heard their voices or even remotely felt their presence around her. "Damn I miss home!" She sighed and left the rain drops behind her, there were days when hours would pass staring at these little droplets and she wouldn't tire. She picked up her phone again and for the nth time tried calling, " They should have mentioned the no cell phone connectivity problem in the stupid memorandum they made me sign!" She threw away her phone and shut her eyes wishing when she woke up this nightmare would be over.
